Join our efforts…

Volunteering for Oakland is a community-based volunteer group.  We are proud of our pioneering non-profit roots as Montclair Community Action Group.  Now we are turning the corner as Volunteering for Oakland, soon to be  501(C)(3) qualified.  There is so much more that can be done.  Now ordinary citizens of Oakland, the East Bay, and original members of the Montclair Community Action Group, can energetically build upon the work we’ve done in the past.  Our actions are the result of ideas from the volunteers who participate.  Volunteer to be part of the action, participate in specific events, or simply sign-up to get our newsletter so you can see future actions as they come into being.  There are lots of ways you can participate.  Be as active as you can be.
